Art 1 classes will be completing a Pop Art self portrait painted on canvas using a grid drawing base. Next, students will create a group painting on canvas, each student completing one piece of the overall image on a grid.Advanced Art classes will be working on the 12 Peppers project. For this work of art, students will be creating 12 identical images on 4.5"x4.5" paper of a fruit, vegetable, or an everyday object as subject, creating each one using a different medium. All 12 pieces will be mounted to one board to create one work of art. As always, a full IW should accompany each project.
