Art 1 classes will be finishing their Pop Art self portraits painted on canvas using a grid drawing base. When finished, we will mount the portraits along the hallway for permanent display. Next week, students will begin a group painting on large paper.
Advanced Art classes will be finishing their 12 Peppers projects. For this work of art, students will be creating 12 identical images on 4.5"x4.5" paper of a fruit, vegetable, or an everyday object as subject, creating each one using a different medium. All 12 pieces are mounted to one board to create one work of art. As always, a full IW should accompany each project.
