Welcome to the online art studio, aka the wired atelier*!

This blog is designed for students and families in Allison Fuller-Mulloy's SMHS Art Classes. It is a site for posting our daily work and homework (IWs) each week, ideas and images to explore further, reminders and due dates. I hope this blog will help students by reinforcing the week's major ideas and activities, giving make-up work for absentees, and providing families a look into the atelier every day!

Week 4... Explorations

Art 1: Students completed short projects exploring each Element of Art. Line and form studies in paper, Shape and Repetition Creations, Texture collages, and Value studies. Several pages of notes were taken in IW, and the first two IW assignments were due 1/27.

Art 2/Photo: Students finished critiquing Elements of Art photos, chose a group of photos for display, and spent some class time taking pictures for the ABC photo assignment due Feb 22. IW's exploring trees and 3 tree photos are due Mon 2/1.

Art 3/4: Students began work on their poster designs for Haiti awareness and relief. IW's due next Wednesday 2/3!

Students were released early 1/29 for snow!
